characters and their reactions to things constantly surprised me, as a reader I ofen find myself seeing and feeling through the eyes of a character, but with this book I stayed an outside observer cared about money and were ultimately miserable and alone I realise the Moreno family was an exception to this, but they still chose to live in the poorest part of the city and were therefore
