I am glad that the original dragonets are still going to play a role in the series, I am also glad that they look like they re going to be background players and give the new characters room for growth and shining I liked the extremely introspective character of Moon I think her difference in personality shows Sutherland s ability to write very well as her characters have many differences but also I was so excited to receive this book A new set of dragonets and a new set of stories Although I am glad that the original dragonets are still going to play a role in the series, I am also glad that they look like they re going to be back...This was such a great continuation of the world We meet a new group of dragons that we ll be following for the next however many books This book is about Moonwatcher Moon who is a dragon that was raised away from her tribe, so she doesn t really fit in with any group She also can read other dragons minds which definitely causes some problems As usual, I thoroughly e...Just in case you haven t kept up with this series by one of the authors of the Warriors Erin Hunter series, book 6 Moon Rising came out 6 January 2015, and book 7 Winter Turning comes out in June I feel like I should do a textual analysis between these and Anne McCaffrey, but both series make me want to cry I have a few students who adore them, so they ll circulate steadily but last a long time, but they are not my favorite, and any series that goes much over five books starts to irrit Just in case you haven t kept up with this series by one of the authors of the Warriors Moon very early on She s quite a likable character, which made this a great book.I loved the new cast Qibli, Winter, Kinkajou, and Moon were just wonderful Not that I didn t like the original dragonets of prophecy would no longer be the main characters and it was going to take place at an academy, making me immediately think of a Hogwarts kind of thing.Of course I should realize by now to always trust the author, she s pulled through every time so far, especially on my worries about the academy Jade Mountain Academy, while it is a school, focuseson healing after the war than what you d expect from a typical learning fa I was so skeptical when I first heard about this book the dragonets of prophecy would no longer be the main characters and it was going to take place at an academy, making me immediately think of a Hogwarts kind of thing.Of course I should realize by now to always trust the author, she s pulled through every time so far, especially on my worries about the academy Jade Mountain Academy, while it is a school, focuseson healing after the war than what you d expect from a typical learning facility It is an absolutely wonderful succession from the previous themes You could even see elements of PTSD and other effects of war in the students.Seriously, the themes in this series are just incredible and are executed so well, I feel like the author put a lot of work in that alone.Of course I love every new character that gets a chance to narrate, and Moon is no exception Her shyness really hit home with me and I felt and instant ...A fantastic beginning to the
