were straight text I would have skipped it but the graphics broke up the story put a clever pace on the end of the world story that I found it entertaining...An interesting new start to a series that kids have no problems creating ingenious ways of prot...The graphics were really well done, and the writing was solid I wasn t a huge fan of present tense being used throughout the book, but it worked
