say that this is probably one of the few positive things that came out of the marriage I then went on to binge all that I had missed and gobbled up every new one that was released And then we moved on to collaborations with Felix and now, finally, Felix s solo books And I have to say that the transition has almost been seamless...A superbly written and thoroughly enjoyable thriller in the absolute back to form after the last disaster This one has echoes of previous Dick Francis books especially Danger. The main character is good and the storyline Some bits are meant to keep you guessing I could do without all the romance It adds nothing...Really good I enjoyed the narrator and the occupation was new and interesting The plot worked well, although I had worked out a bit of it before the protagonist did Kept my interest but was also an easy read And I liked the bit of romance that was thrown in, a bitthan I ve read in his recent books.I have read all of the Dick Francis books and have been slow to find the books of his son, Felix, as appealing However, with this book, I feel Felix has reached his highest level yet This book not only contains a good mystery but also has horse racing
