consistently enjoyable and entertaining books I ve read over the past couple of years, and they ve only got better as the series has progressed, delivering fast paced, action packed and intricately realy sad when the series I love finishes I was expecting Malloryn s story since the beginning and the conslusion of the feud between him and Balfour and while I loved this book, I must admit that it was rather anticlimatic I loved how Bec McMaster managed to transform Adele from a hated character to a good one When Adele was introduced I saw her as a grabby debutante who forced Malloryn s hand, but here we get to see her POV and why she did it I must admit that I would have done I m realy sad when the series I love finishes I was expecting Mal...I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review Yes, I absolutely cried I can t believe it is the end of this era series I m going to miss the Company of Rogues and their nonstop bantering and espionage and whatnots Here are some of my thoughts This has definitely exceeded my expectations and my expectations were already pretty damn high after all the glimpses we got into Malloryn Adele s story in previous books I had no idea that this I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review Yes, I absolutely cried I can t believe it is the end of this era series I m going to miss the Company of Rogues and their nonstop bantering and espionage and whatnots Here are some of my thoughts This has definitely exceeded my expectations and my expectations were already pretty damn high after all the glimpses we got into Malloryn Adele s story in previous books I had no idea that this Adele was the same Adele we met in Lena s book I honestly forgot her name and her character but the moment I saw Lena talking to Adele I was like, waitt...Four and a half What a tremendous way to end this series This intelligent, fast moving and beautifully atmospheric steampunk fantasy has held me riveted since its first inception It s not often that a series delivers on its initial promise but I can honestly say every book has added to this incredible journey Yes at heart it s a political, fantasy drama but the characters come bursting to glorious life fuelled by numerous emotions but in the hands of this author there s always time for Four and a half What a tremendous way to end this series This...Very good conclusion to the Blue Blood Conspiracy books While I enjoyed it immensely, I didn t feel quite as connected to Malloryn and Adele as a couple This is probably because McMaster has penned some really terrific foils for one another Every couple can t be your favorite However, the excitement is done so, so well and in typical McMaster style The tower rescue give book 1, Kiss of Steel a chance even though its needs years for me to finally complete the series Kiss of Steel is the book that start it all, that make McMaster is one of my favorite authors to last, teasing us about his future HEA for a few books, and she delivered superbly with the intensity, the challenges, the internal dilemma and the passion that was brewing between the MC If I had to resume this book in two words, I d use the author s expression carnal warfare I m no expert, but I think that one of the secret of a marriage that works is trust and respect That could certainly explain why the union of Adele and the Duke of Bec McMaster kept the Duke of Malloryn s story for last, teasing us about his future HEA for a few books, and she delivered superbly with the intensity, the challenges, the internal dilemma and the passion that was brewing between the MC If I had to resume this book in two words, I d use the author s expression carnal warfare I m no expert, but I think that one of the secret of a marriage that works is trust and respect That could certainly explain why the union of Adele and the Duke of Malloryn makes for a frosty relationship and months of living together and keeping their distance She trapped him into marriage it s not as bad as it sound because he still made a choice , but for a man who keep control in all aspects of his life, it make him wary about her and he made it clear from the beginning that it will be a marriage in name only Anyway, he already vowed to never fall in love again when he lost the woman he love almost two decade ago...
