curse can be a blessing from this perspective I felt immediately connected to Etta s character, the bold warrior with potent magic at her fingertips, hiding her true sel...I really liked this book Had been warned this was an alternate tale to Rapunzel, and that had me a bit on tenterhooks not a fan of traditional classic fairytales and their re writes but the truth is I only remembered this detail close to the end of the book when the word Rapunzel does creep up most of the time I was actually convinced I was reading a sort of spin off on Sleeping Beauty, go figure The characters were really well done, Etta is very vivid, Alex is very anooying, Camille I really liked this ...Loved, loved, loved this Rapunzel retelling This was actually my first fairy tale retelling so I wasn t sure what to expect, but having read many of this author s books before, I knew I wouldn t be disappointed On a side note, M Lynn is possibly the most underrated author out there Her characters are so the very start This author has a brilliant imagination with an ability to make you feel the emotions of her characters, bringing them to life There was a few moments when I couldn t stop the tears falling A lot of people can write a good story but without their feelings becoming your own it s hard to engage The same goes for the world What a great start to a new series Michelle Lynn is a new
